Wi-Fi Signal Interpreter (dBm / RSSI)
Enter the signal value in dBm (RSSI) and see whether it's excellent, good or weak, and what to expect from the connection.
How to read Wi-Fi signal in dBm
RSSI is measured in negative dBm: the closer to zero, the stronger the signal.
-40 dBm é excelente; -80 dBm é fraco. Você encontra esse valor no celular (detalhes da
rede Wi-Fi) ou em apps analisadores.
| -30 to -50 dBm | Excellent, close to the router. |
| -50 to -60 dBm | Very good, 4K streaming and gaming without problems. |
| -60 to -67 dBm | Good, reliable minimum for video and VoIP. |
| -67 to -75 dBm | Weak, browsing is fine but video may drop. |
| -75 to -90 dBm | Very weak, unstable or unable to connect. |
How to improve
Move closer to the router, reduce obstacles (walls, mirrors and aquariums), prefer the 5 GHz quando perto, ou use um repetidor/mesh para cômodos distantes.
