SPF and DMARC Checker
Check a domain's SPF and DMARC records to see whether its email is protected against spoofing.
What SPF and DMARC are for
Both protect your domain against email spoofing, when someone sends messages pretending to be your domain.
- SPF (
v=spf1): lists which servers are allowed to send email on behalf of the domain. It lives in a TXT record at the domain root. - DMARC (
v=DMARC1): defines what to do with messages that fail verification (no action, quarantine or reject) and where to send reports. It lives at_dmarc.yourdomain.
The lookup uses Cloudflare's DNS-over-HTTPS straight from the browser. A domain without SPF and DMARC is more vulnerable to having its name used in scams and to landing in recipients' spam.
